Dates

1. The Date of Preparation: Sep, 2nd, 2009

2. The Date of Teaching: Sep, 14th, 2009

 

Teaching Aims

1.        Review the adj words of lesson 13 Part A, esp, to ensure that the Ss can spell the words freely.

2.        The Ss can apply the adjs to the sentences.

3.        The Ss can understand and do Part B in lesson7 freely.

4.        Emotional education: “ we classmates are friends. The families are our friends. The animals are our friends. Nature is our friends. Even, all the countries should be friendly.

Key points and Difficulties

  1. The words and their spellings.
  2. The structures: “ I have a friend. He is wearing a green t-shirt. He is tall. Who is he?” the Ss can use them smoothly.
  3. About the emotional education. “The world is all of love.”

Teaching aids

  1. Teachers’ cards.
  2. CAI.

Teaching procedure

Step 1: Warm-up

1.      Greetings

-- Good morning, boys and girls.

-- Good morning, Amanda.

-- Nice to meet you.

-- Nice to meet you to.

-- Who is he? (point at S2).

--He is…. (S1)

-- What is he like? He is short, tall, big, or…(point at S2).

-- he is thin. ( S1).

At this time, the T will lead to the adj revision.

Step 2: Revision

2.      Review the words by flashing cards, esp, spelling. In this part, I will lead to games:

e.g. The competition between the T and the Ss.

Bomb game

Do opposite actions, such as: pretty- ugly, big- thin, etc.

Step 3: lead- in

3. Look at the pictures:

“I have a friend. He is wearing a blue T-shirt.”

 What’s meaning? Translate the sentences into Chinese.

4. He is wearing a blue t-shirt.

Using games to emphasize it, such as: “jump ahead”, “sissor, paper, stone”.

Step 4: Presentation

  1. Look at the picture: “This is a happy family. In my family, my mom is my friend. What about you?( the families treat us very well.)

 In your family, who is your friend? “What is he/she like?”

 The Ss will answer the Qs.

 The T will tell the Ss: “ The families are our friends. We should love our families.”

5        Do exercises.

Look at the picture A: (using the Ss photos)

I have a friend. She is wearing a white dress. Who is she?

The Ss will give the answer.

 

Look at the picture B: (using the Ss photos)

I have a friend. He is handsome. He is wearing a red T- shirt, and blue shorts. Who is he?

The Ss will give the answer.

The Ss will do this kind of exercise one by one.

Part C free talk

I will choose some Ss to introduce his classmate, friends,etc.

Invite some Ss, being the models, to come to the platform. And we will do guessing games.

Love our classmates. Classmates are our friends.

 

Step 3: Consolidation and extension

 Love education

 Animals are our friends.

 Nature is our friends.

 Even, countries are good friends.

Step 4: Summary

 Review what we learnt today.

Homework

  1. Listen to Lesson 7 for 10 mins.
  2. Recite this lesson.
  3. Tell their parents the true meaning of “friends”.

本堂课凸显了“以学生为中心”的教学理念。设计思路清晰、巧妙,环节丝丝入扣,顺利实现了教学目标,情感目标也做到了深入、到位。

本堂课的亮点:

1、                 运用“photo show”导课,巧妙地引出了“We are friends.”构思新颖。

2、                口语练习到位。拓展部分有效地训练了学生的口头汇

话能力。

3、                句型讲解、强化练习到位,并做到了有效的托展,使学生做到了学以致用。

4、                练习设计有梯度,并在处理练习时,体现了“面-线-点”相结合的教学理念。

5、                情感目标处理得好,全方位诠释了“friends”的含义。

6、                教师有激情。

本堂课值得推敲的方面:

1、             练习应更加侧重整体操练,让更多的学生参与课堂。

2、           学生在复习单词的过程中,所体现出的问题:不够熟练,应在课下进一步强化。

3、           “石头、剪刀、布”的游戏,可改进一下,让全体学生说,2个同学比赛,这样可以大大提高学生的参与度。

4、           出现了口误,一条裤子,应用“a pair of” 来修饰。
